Reserving The Right

I'm stitching tonite on the Garden Of Eden sampler from The Needle's Prayse. I am not feeling the love. The colors seem very dated to me and I don't feel like ripping it out. I'm reserving the right to pitch this one with no guilt. Do you ever do that?

Do it...you know you want to...

Do it... and yes, I've done a toss or two myself.

Yes, I've done that. Tossed with zero guilt whatsoever. Life is too short to be working on something you're not enjoying!

Yes. You shouldn't invest the time in something that you aren't enjoying.

Totally, I've pitched more than one start because I didn't like some part of it ;-).

Hey, been there done that!! Toss with reckless abandon. I started a project a little while ago and didn't like the colors - too bright. Well, I found out that the chart had come out in the early 80's - no wonder the colors were a little too "country cute" for me. So throw it away and start something new!

Absolutivelively without a doubt or hesitation--although I will admit to cutting out what I stitched and hoarding the fabric. I'm like that about fabric. Designs--I find myself asking, What the devil was I thinking all those years ago?

Not me, I would donate the pattern and I never throw fabric or floss away. If I won't use it, I find someone who will. But I am funny that way :o}

never waste precious time on something you don't like - throw away, give away or put away for a guild donation or something. Love your recent knitting FO's - you are really cranking out the projects. We haven't hit the 60's in 6 mos or more but I'm ready ! take care Mel
