Finished piecing this one today! Definitely wanted this one queen size, as I am loving the blue and brown! Hope you're getting lots accomplished this weekend!
I love that blue print. I first saw it last week on Kathleen Tracy's blog where she referred to it as an ugly fabric., I liked it so well that I went searching for it online and asked the owner of my LQS if she recognized it but no luck. I was hoping to including some in a blue and brown top I'm working on right now but wouldn't have thought to use it as a main fabric like you did. It looks great. After reading blogs for a couple years and evaluating my recent quilts, I've realized that I find my quilts boring because my fabric choices are too safe. The reproduction fabrics in my LQS tend to be small prints in one or two colors that just don't add a spark to quilts. Now I'm doing more online shopping and finding much more interesting choices.
