Climbing Up On Saffron Hill

I've been downstairs playing with fabric again tonight!

I've had this Sue Spargo pattern whispering to me for quite some time...

Saffron Hill.

So I decided to just get started!

I've got the background put together!

Next up....pulling and prepping for the applique.

This will be a leisurely climb!

*Peace!

Let me tell you about *leisurely*--my Spargo project has been underway for almost three years and has been untouched for a full year. Wouldn't want to be too hasty about anything...

That's a nice pattern. Can't wait to see your version.

Of course I had to go find it online to see what the whole pattern looked like, and I caved and ordered my own copy. We quilters have NO willpower.

That is beautiful. I may need to order the pattern myself. Great fabrics.

Oh, I love Sue Spargo! This is going to be such a fun quilt with all those fabrics. I can't wait to see more than just the background.

OH MY GOSH! Seriously, that is adorable. Now I need to play that 'Climbing up on Solsbury Hill' song by Peter Gabriel...
