If you quickly stopped in to your local G'Willy's haunt and spied these.
And even though French Provincial really isn't your big 'look', the caning was in excellent shape....they were all so very solid and sturdy.
And then you turn them over and you see this! Thomasville.
And a sign that said $7.50 each.
It's true...so very true. I bought all four of them. A vision have I...another project. Another score!
You would have done the same thing...right?
*Peace!

$7.50 per chair...can't go wrong here. But what's the plan with these? Curious minds want to know...lol
Very nice! What a price too! Can't wait to see what you do.
Absolutely! Too good to pass up, Kim. So, what's the plans for them?
Great find. Can't wait to see what you do with them.
Can't beat that price for good chairs. I'm sure you will turn them into something wonderful. Be sure to post a picture of the finished chairs.
Can't wait to see what you do with them....spray paint? Laquered....ohhhh, now that would be cool-a-mundo!
LOVE these! And they would be great porch chairs....maybe new paint and bright, fun color new upholstery .....yay!
FABULOUS FIND! Those chairs are gorgeous! You should pat yourself on the back! arga
Very pretty chairs. Where are you gonna put them? (I wouldn't have bought them as I have a very full one bedroom, and I would have had no place to put them!!)
Yes, I probably would have done the same thing. Although I'd have to get them in the door without DH seeing them. Always an issue! Great score for the price!
Absolutely!!
I'm looking for dining room chairs--my GW wants 25.00 for 1!!! You are so lucky!!! And they are gorgeous.
OOoh, yeah. You know I'd bring those home. Color me jealous! Great find, great price. I bow to the master. Ha. Can't wait to see how they turn out!

I've been known to pull bentwood chairs out of the garbage to add to my parents' collection! A splash of paint, new cushion cover, and you're golden!
