Thrifty Thursday & A Giveaway!

Hello! and Happy Thrifty Thursday! Glad you stopped by! I've got a few treasures to share both via pics and in the form of a giveaway!!

I brought home an interesting little haul. I tend to gravitate toward the handmade, and the little wooden container is hand turned lovely wood. I've picked up a couple other hand turned wooden containers...so...yes...I suppose this is now a collection. Someone save me!

Also something we already know I collect...

handmade pottery. And had to grab that Louisa May Alcott Little Men book!

I was giddy to find these two framed Warren Kimble prints.

and the backing paper may have been a little rough...

but it's that price! $1.49 each! Score!

And another great folk art framed print...

isn't it wonderfully warm? Love the pears...and the bowl depicts a Noahs Ark scene! Some folk art fan must have cleared out some pictures and they wound up on the shelf of the local thrift store just in time for me to gather them up and bring them home!

And I'd like to send the framed pear print home to one of you! If you would like to find a place in your home for this great pic, just leave a comment, making sure I have a way to contact you to let you know you've won!

I'll announce a winner on next Thursday's Thrifty Thursday post! Feel free to tell your friends, and good luck!

Spreading the thrifty-love.....

*Peace!

Oh wow! I loooove your finds this week! And that pear print -- you don't want to keep it for yourself? I love it! Noah's Ark! Cool out! But I won't win cause I'm first. lol! That's ok. The wooden piece -- I love wood stuff! And the jug is pretty! And Warren Kimble! Good finds this week! (I was tempted by a Bounty Trilogy book with NC Wyeth illustrations. Should have gotten it when I could. Sigh.)

I just found you via Edgar's blog, and love what you're up to! The hat you made Avery is adorable - I kinda like it too big, haha. I need to redo my kitchen, and that picture would be a perfect jumping-off piece, so please include me in your drawing. Thank you!

Too funny - I was ogling your Kimble prints and then drooling over the Noah's ark folk art print only to read that you are giving it away - I had to read it twice. YES, please add me to the drawing. So incredibly generous of you, Kim!

Great finds this week - can't wait to see who wins!

I would love to enter the giveaway, not for me but for a friend. She loves anything Noah's ark. She says the scene always depicts hopefulness. If I win, I will gift it to her.

Oh, I always love the things you manage to find in your trips out. I would love to put the pear picture in my kitchen. I've already got the folk look going in the living room, I can start in the kitchen, too, right? :) Have a great Christmas if I don't talk with you before then!
