with linen in hand and hoop. The rhythmic passing of the needle...very relaxing.
And then you see progress unfold right beneath your hands....

Ann Rayner is progressing nicely. I've decided to commit to her until the end. Unless the grass does me in! ;o) I'd love to have her done in the next month or two. Slowly but surely...and enjoying the process!
*Peace!

I know what you mean, stitching is one of the most soothing things to do :). Your progress on Ann is Fabulous--- keep it up, you will be done with her in no time. What are you stitching her on?
She is looking fabulous. Yes, its amazing how sitting down to stitch can just sooth the soul.
So beautiful!!! Enjoy the stitching -- I think we all know what you mean. :D
Great Progress - It looks beautiful so far - I'm sure the grass will go quicker than you think ;)
I feel the same way. The motion of stitching along with keeping your mind of the pattern really just clears the mind.
Oh Kim, she is beautiful!
You are so right. There is nothing more soothing, comforting, and relaxing than sitting down to stitch. Beautiful piece.
Well said--couldn't agree more! I spent my evening doing the same thing, which I haven't done nearly enough. It's therapeutic and I've come to believe only a fellow stitcher can truly understand that!
Such a lovely and peaceful piece to be plying your needle with, Kimmie. I love Ann Raynor...and hope to stitch her someday!
What a beauty, Kim!! Your stitching is just lovely :)
She's gorgeous! When I need to relax and just be peaceful I stitch!!! It's so soothing. I always want to laugh when someone says they don't have the patience to stitch, to me it's so not about being patient, it's about how methodical it is :-).
She's a real beauty Kim. I know you can get this sampler finished... YGG.
Ann is looking SO beautiful - I did not know you had some much completed - YEAH - YGG - I hope you can dedicate your stitchy time to her. I have this ready to go (sigh) maybe one day - Mel
