A sampler was finished this morning!

Specifically the Fraktur One Sampler, which Kathy Barrick says is one of her earliest designs.

I'm excited to take it to the framer!
After I finished stitching and was showered, I sat down for some of this.

I got exactly 1/2 way done before taking this break.

We shall not discuss the fold in the backing I discovered when I stopped to survey my work.
We shall not speak of it.
*Peace!

Ooohhh!! What a lovely pattern! I might have to ask you to borrow that someday!
I noticed that the colors in your quilt look like a lovely match to the Fraktur!
How gorgeous! Congratulations on the finish! And your quilt -- it's beautiful! I won't say a thing about the .......
A big congrats on your stitching finish and your quilt in progress.
Oh No... the dreaded fold in the backing fabric. Just pretend it's not there.
Love you Franktur! Congrats on the finish! I know a quilt shop owner who's machine quilter once quilted a whole quilt with the backing wrong side out...ack...won't mention your fold! Darn I hate it when that happens!
I love your sampler. Kathy's designs are so special aren't they? And your quilt...I love it. You are very talented Kim.... Ugh on the fold...dang.... Hugs
Both are stunning...Just beautiful! Faye
What fold Kim? There is none!! I love your finish and I just love your quilt too! I think I have to make one of those!
I love your Fraktur finish, Kim!! I bought that chart from Kathy about three or four years ago now, kitted it up, and it still sits up in my room. Agh. Love the quilt!! Just don't show anybody the back--it's all good. ;)
What a great finish, love it!! And the quilt is gorgeous too.
The Fraktur sampler is lovely! And your quilt ~ what fold? It's absolutely beautiful!
